winter.

Cold hands & feet.
Ugg boots everywhere.
Red noses and cheeks.
Jumpers and multiple layers.
Hot chocolates & toasty fires.
Things that make winter...feel warm.

Winter is that time of year where your mind travels elsewhere.
You are too cold to think and eat so much due to the fact you are too cold & bored.
It is the time where you sleep in till 12 and wait for that winter breeze to give you a runny nose and cough, so you have a excuse to stay in bed all day.
But then, winter can have its flaws although it is a beautiful season.
Crisp air, picture painted grey clouds and frosted glass.

Winter brings in the heavy and thick wooly jumpers Grandma knits you and makes you wear.
The heavy, black winter uniform your school thinks is attractive for the season.
The spare time you have at home, primarily left for sleep, but leaves your Mum harassing you to help her clean.

However, it does bring love. Love in winter is special.
Having the warmth of a person you love close is the quality element of winter.
Having someone to ski or ice skate with and both breath in that clean pristine fresh air, and giving you both rosy red cheeks, which makes you self conscious that you are blushing, which underneath that crisp white skin you are.
Having someone to cuddle up to by a fire with a quality hot chocolate.
But most of all, having that someone to share this season with.
Even if you don't, you can make it special, perhaps with a close friend or that someone who you've been eyeing off.

But however you spend your winter, the magical season, make it something to remember.
Because winter is the slow season and as soon as summer arrives those memories and times will move quicker than you can think of now, which will then bring you back to winter.

So make these moments last and take them slow.
Warm up, stay safe & celebrate winter.
